About DMI

DMI are involved in the creation of pioneering technology based distance learning equipment. They offer services to many educational establishments throughout the UK.

They also offer consultation and support to many organisations for training in such areas as social care, education and business.

Distance Learning

Traditionally distance learning students have been provided with paper based materials which are sent to the tutor for marking.

Video conferencing took distance learning to the next stage by giving to students an onscreen tutor. This is still usually supported with paper or online content.

The DMI partnership

Our model has developed distance learning by creating a unique blended learning environment, where students can interact through sound and video, whilst also using slide shows and whiteboard presentations.

All of this is achieved over an internet connection with full encryption which provides a safe, secure, exciting and engaging learning environment.
